Personal Exploration

Many people describe therapists as "shrinks".  In fact, therapy is sometimes about safely stretching beyond what is familiar.  In my therapy practice, I am not the expert- I am a facilitator.  What you contribute to the exploration is just as important as the experience I bring to the process! Here is how you can get the most out of our time together:


  • Be open and try to adopt a spirit of adventure. 


  • Be as honest as you can about your experience. 


  • Pay attention to your experience without judgment. 


  • Be willing to be uncomfortable, at times.  


  • Be willing to experiment.  


  • Remember your strengths. 


  • Have fun (yes, therapy can be fun!). 


  • Hang in there!
